It turns out that the niche in Bermuda is completely not occupied, which provides affordable and stable communications: the Internet, which we already mentioned, telephony, including mobile phones and television.
By the way, about the latter. Do you remember the video we showed in the previous part of the review? It was broadcast by one of the central television channels of Bermuda. Agree that one can not even believe that a rich country can not afford the placement of channels on the network, which would support at least a slightly better picture and sound. When we watched the video, because of interference, we decided that the problem with the speakers, but no - it's all about the low quality of Bermuda TV.
With the equipment provided by Horizon Communications, it will be possible to broadcast the broadcasts to HD, as it does in all the countries that surround Bermuda. It's amazing to write about that such a developed country needs such a trivial thing as a good image on TV, while a lot of advanced companies spend their most important and costly operations on the territory of this country.
Also, it will be possible to provide the population of Bermuda with IP-telephony. This is the most likely receiver of home phones that we have now. The number of VoIP is steadily growing every year, preferring a wire analogue service.
Naturally, in Bermuda, providers are looking for solutions in order to provide companies and individuals with a connection to telephony. And this time we will also entertain you with numbers. I do not want to be banal, but it's again the prices for services, from the same provider as in the first part of the review, only now for the phone. It seems that they have a phone in the house - a sign of luxury, since even phone sets on the site of this company can be rented for a month at the price of their full cost.
But Horizon Communications and their IP telephony will destroy this vicious system where ordinary things are presented to people as something unique and unique, especially since hundreds of nautical miles are located in the United States of America, where mobile phones are sold as supplies that lose no pity.
With the help of the same LTE standard, Gilbert Darrell and his team will be able to supply home phone services at prices that simply will not be enough for competing companies that are accustomed to using obsolete equipment and live on a broad scale. They will either have to change or leave the market.
But what is even more interesting is that all these services: telephone, television and the Internet will not require users of any additional installations, contracts or manipulations. Instead, they will receive a device in their home for which they will need to pay a certain fee and which will be able to provide all three services that Horizon Communications will provide.
Mobile already on the road
Well, of course, when you create a company whose goal is to provide wireless communications, it's a sin not to tackle the mobile phone market. Moreover, one of the leaders of this industry, which is most likely to be the first to launch the LTE communication standard for Bermuda subscribers, offers to pay for a day of unlimited prepaid calls approximately the same as how much you pay for the month using the 4G Internet.
However, as stated in the documentation of the project Horizon Communications, the entry into the mobile phone market will take place somewhat later: approximately two years after working with the Internet covering the islands. Still, the problem of cellular communication is not so acute.
Moreover, most likely, residents of Bermuda will rather resort not to the use of expensive tariff plans for mobile operators, when they need access to the Internet from a mobile device, and will use one of the public Wi-Fi networks provided by Horizon Communications - even then they will appreciate the benefits of using this progressive project!
