In the previous article, we began to discuss the RedCab project , which offers a completely new solution in the field of transport services on the basis of blockbuster technology, smart contracts, crypto-currencies and artificial intelligence. The main feature of the idea in the business model of the platform, which does not charge any commission from its users, is to make a profit solely due to carefully thought out intellectual advertising based on analysis of data on routes, habits, behavior and preferences of users.
In this part of the review we will talk about why such a specific area as transport services needs such a solution, what problems exist in it and how to get rid of them using RedCab. In addition, we will consider a unique tool that will be created within the framework of the project - the road assistant Cabbi.
Focus on users
RedCab will become one of the few platforms, the creators of which are not interested in making profit at the expense of their users, but, on the contrary, will pay maximum attention to their convenience and interest in using the RedCab application.
As we have already said, the RedCab team spent a whole year just looking at the market situation to take into account all the pros and cons of modern solutions, all the advantages and disadvantages of a modern transport services system, so the platform creators came to the following conclusion.
The vast majority of companies (if not all) that provide transportation services, in particular taxis, in addition to high-quality service, are interested in a consistently high profit, which is received mostly at the expense of their own customers from among passengers and drivers. But in this scheme there are obvious shortcomings.
On the one hand, it's very simple - the company takes from drivers a certain percentage of the profit for trips, most often from 10% to 25%, due to which it receives quite a good income. Such a commission is due to the fact that the driver works through a company that spends money on its advertising, in fact giving its customers customers.
But in what situation are the drivers themselves. After working all day and earning, say, $ 200, from $ 20 to $ 50 will have to give the company. At the same time, a study by RedCab showed that 91% of drivers who work for such services expect to increase their income, although they lose a significant part of it.
The RedCab business model is designed in such a way that due to the complete absence of commissions, the driver will be able to save up to 20% of the funds, thereby increasing his profits. The company receives funds for its development, providing other enterprises with the most effective method of advertising. But the problems of the sphere of transport services, as it turned out, affected not only the drivers.
Clients of such companies were faced with sudden increases in tariffs on weekends and in worsening weather conditions. So, if on a weekday trip can cost $ 15, then on Saturday the taxi service will take from the client up to $ 25 for the same distance.
RedCab completely excluded such jumps in tariffs, so the cost of travel will always be fixed, and customers will be able to save up to 30% of their funds. Plus, the platform's creators have provided the most adequate cost of services, so that users from different countries receive them at an equally good price.
Assistant on the road
Cabbi is an intelligent assistant based on artificial intelligence technology, which can become an indispensable tool for both drivers and RedCab customers. In the case of drivers Cabbi will perform the function of a robotic assistant, helping to organize the work on the service.
So, with his help, drivers will be able to monitor the schedule of the nearest planned trips, the location of customers and destinations, travel ratings and payments made.
But when the RedCab client uses Cabbi, he gets a unique opportunity to use an assistant who organizes not only trips, but also meetings and events. The robot assistant is maximally personalized for each user and helps to choose a trip depending on the appearance, clothes and emotional mood of the client.
